‘intransmission’ is conceived as a series of experimental multidisciplinary live art performances exploring individual perception and collective experience. It revolves around the lags, delays and discrepancies which exist in the realm of human interaction.
The first edition performed in Hanoi used digitization as medium of distortion. The format of the show consisted of two separate spaces with analogous interactive installations which audiences visited one after the other, the order of which was determined by a chance game.
Both audio and video material recorded in Space 1 (‘primary experience’) was processed, distorted and live-streamed, thus creating the artistic content for Space 2 (‘derivative experience’). Designed in such way, what was derivative in concept became a primary experience for some, thus blurring the distinction between the two.
